All, I'd like to propose that we try to hold Field Day 2024 at River Styx Park. River Styx Park is located just north of the intersection of River Styx Rd. and Blake Rd. Here's a link to a map: https://www.bing.com/maps?cp=41.042533%7E-81.782887&lvl=13.3 It would be roughly a 10 minute drive NW from the Wadsworth Eagles as an estimate. There is a nice, open, oblong field that has some nice trees that could be used for antennas. It's about 400ft long and about 75ft wide. I've attached a marked-up picture of the area below. Pluses: Restrooms, Reasonable Parking, Out of the way of most of the park which bodes well for a special use permit. Cons: No water or electricity. No nearby picnic shelter. At this location, we'd have to rent or borrow some large tents for shelter. I'll check it out tomorrow or Sunday Thanks On Fri, Feb 16, 2024, 19:44 Jason McCormick via Field Day Tech < fd-tech@w8wky.org> wrote:

That would have to be part of the special use permit. ________________________________ From: Lane Yerian via Field Day Tech <fd-tech@w8wky.org> Sent: Saturday, February 17, 2024 9:03 AM To: Jason McCormick via Field Day Tech <fd-tech@w8wky.org> Cc: Lane Yerian <kd8jjf@gmail.com> Subject: [Field Day Tech] Re: Field Day Location - River Styx Park Will they let us be there for 24hr operations?
